To use The SMG program on the Web, you must be able to access the Internet, either through a dial-up modem that connects through a phone line or through a direct connection, such as with a Local Area Network (LAN).

If you are connecting to the Internet through a dial-up modem, we recommend a minimum connection speed of 56 kbps or higher.

 

Each teacher, advisor, and adult participant must have an active email address.

 

We recommend you use the latest version of Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari as your Web browser. You can download the software for free and check the system requirements by clicking on the links below:

While we endeavor to make the SMG experience work on as many browsers and platforms as possible, if you are using a netbook or a device with a screen size 11 inches or smaller, you may need to adjust browser zoom and font settings to get the SMG to display properly. If you have any issues do not hesitate to contact your coordinator or the national support desk.

 

You will need JavaScript and cookies enabled to run the SMG Program. You can change these settings in the browser’s preferences/options. You need to unblock popups and will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view PDF teaching materials. A printer is optional but recommended.
